I grew up in a small town in Ohio, the youngest of 8 kids. My parents cultivated my creative spirit, and I went on to find my destiny at the University of Cincinnati. It was there that I discovered the world of design. I also met my husband, Rick, who whisks me around the world. We've been fortunate to live in Europe and South America for as many years as we've lived in the U.S. together. I finished my degree at Auburn University in Industrial Design, but I'm drawn to the studio arts by both my nomadic lifestyle and my desire to create one-of-a-kind pieces. Mass production can be a wonderful thing, but I'm taking the other route for now. I'm also proud to be the homemaker for my beautiful family, and I continue to pursue art and design along the way. We currently live in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
